Stillborn

Introduction

The words “born again” have become almost ordinary today.
They’re repeated in congregations, on the streets, and in songs.
Millions are sincerely convinced that one prayer, one “acceptance of Jesus,” guarantees salvation.
But if it’s truly that simple, why do so many of these “newborns” continue to live in disobedience, rejecting what YHWH called eternal and holy – His commandments?

What if someone has replaced the essence with mere words—leaving the form but removing the power?
What if most people were never truly born again, though they’re fully convinced they were?

This article is not about religion or dogma.
It is an invitation to look into the Word of YHWH and honestly ask yourself:
Was I born again the way it is written? Or did I simply accept a teaching that was comfortable for my heart?

Today, it’s become normal to think that just “believing in Yeshua” makes you a new creation.
People say: “I accepted Christ—therefore I’m saved.”
But does Scripture say that?

📜 Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master! Master!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in Heaven.”

And what is the will of the Father?

It is the commandments of the Torah—eternal, given from Above, written, confirmed, and entrusted to the people of YHWH:

📜 Deuteronomy 4:6 — Keeping the commandments is wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the nations.
📜 Deuteronomy 5:29 — YHWH desires that His people fear Him and keep His commandments always—for their own good and that of their children.
📜 Deuteronomy 6:7 — The commandments are to be taught to children, spoken of at home, on the way, morning and evening—they should be part of everyday life.
📜 Sirach 35:1 — Keeping the Law is like offering a sacrifice of thanksgiving; one who clings to the commandments brings YHWH a pleasing offering of salvation.
📜 Psalm 78:1–7 — YHWH established His Law so it would be taught to children and grandchildren—so future generations would hope in Him, not forget His works, and keep His commandments.
📜 Deuteronomy 10:12 — YHWH requires this: that His people fear Him, walk in His ways, love Him, and serve Him with all their heart—by keeping His commandments, for their own good.
📜 Isaiah 24:5 — The land is defiled because people have broken YHWH ’s Law, changed His ordinances, and rejected the everlasting covenant.
📜 Psalm 119:89 — The Word of YHWH is firmly established forever—it is unchanging and eternal.

📜 Matthew 7:23 — “Depart from Me, you who work lawlessness”—literally: those who violate the Torah.

That is why today there are so many who believe they are saved—but do not live according to the Word.
They have:

  • Made an emotional decision

  • Prayed a prayer

  • Believed the message: “Christ died for you”

But they have not:

  • Returned to the commandments of YHWH

  • Entered into the Covenant

  • Become His people

📜 Luke 1:79 — “…to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death…”
📜 Exodus 19:5 — “Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My special treasure among all peoples…”

Even more tragically—stillborn Christians often actively resist the Truth.
Mention the Sabbath, clean food, YHWH ’s Festivals, or refuse pagan traditions — and you’ll hear:
“That’s legalism!” “That’s not led by the Holy Spirit!”

📜 Romans 8:7 — “The mind of the flesh is hostile to YHWH …”
📜 Romans 8:14 — “For all who are led by the Spirit of YHWH are sons of YHWH .”

Conclusion

If someone claims to be “born again,” yet:

  • Rejects the Sabbath,

  • Disregards the instructions about clean food

  • Neglects the Festivals of YHWH,

  • Justifies pagan holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.),

  • And accuses others of “legalism” for desiring to live by the commandments—

Then according to the Word of YHWH, they were not born of the Spirit—they were stillborn…
They’ve simply adopted a new religious form—an illusion of transformation.
It’s not life from the Spirit, but a convenient substitute that requires neither sacrifice, nor repentance, nor true sanctification.

📜 1 John 2:4 — “Whoever says, ‘I know Him,’ but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

So what is true being born again?

📜 Repentance for disobedience to the commandments of YHWH(Luke 3:4)
📜 Receiving Yeshua as the atoning sacrifice (the propitiation) for sin (Isaiah 53:10; Romans 3:25; Hebrews 2:17)
📜 Returning to the Covenant—to a life guided by the Torah written on the heart (Jeremiah 31:31–33)

This is true new birth—not from words, not from a church “salvation theory” that promises eternal life for a moment of belief.
True being born again means leaving behind the “Pauline theology/doctrine” found in many churches, where salvation is reduced to faith alone without the need to return to Torah…

…And entering into Covenant life—obedience to the commandments of YHWH, walking in the truth of His Word sown in the heart.

📜 John 17:17 — “Sanctify them by Your truth; Your Word is truth.”

✨ Let everyone who seeks—hear. And may the Word revive the heart.
Because only the Word, joined with obedience, gives Life.
