Col. 1:18 And He is the Head of the body, the congregation of YHWH, Who is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Eph. 4:15 We take our lead from Messiah, Who is the Head of His body, the congregation of YHWH.

1Cor. 11:3 The Head of the Messiah is YHWH.

Rom.12:4 For as in one physical body we have many parts (members) and all of these parts do not have the same function but each part has a special function. We are all different parts of His One Body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Messiah, we belong to each other, and individually we are parts one of another – mutually dependent on one another. 6 YHWH has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t. If you preach, just preach a gospel, nothing else; if YHWH has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that YHWH is speaking through you; 7 if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you help, just help, don’t take over; 8 if your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If YHWH has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously and don’t manipulate; if you’re called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don’t let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

Eph.4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers. 12 Their task is to equip people of YHWH for the work of service that builds the body of the Messiah 13 until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful and till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of YHWH, unto a perfect man, fully mature adults, at the standard of maturity set by the Messiah’s perfection.

1Cor.12:12 You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. Your body has many parts—limbs, organs, cells—but no matter how many parts you can name, you’re still one body. It’s exactly the same with the Messiah – the body is One and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are One body.

1Cor.12:15 If the foot was to say, “I’m not elegant like the hand, embellished with rings; I guess I don’t belong to this body,” would that make it so? 16 If the ear said, “I’m not beautiful like the eye, limpid and expressive; I don’t deserve a place on the head,” would you want to remove it from the body? 17 If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell? 18 As it is, we see that YHWH has carefully placed each part of the body right where He wanted it. What a strange thing a body would be if it had only one part! 20 Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you. “22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 When it’s a part of your own body you are concerned with; it makes no difference whether the part is visible or clothed, higher or lower. 24 You give it dignity and honor just as it is, without comparisons. 25 So that there will be no disagreements within the body, but rather all the parts will be equally concerned for all the others. This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other equally. 26 If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.

1Cor.12:27 Now you are the body of Messiah, and members individually. 28 And YHWH has appointed these in the congregation: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 But it’s obvious by now, isn’t it, that congregation of YHWH is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional Part? It’s not all Apostles, not all Prophets, not all Miracle Workers, 30 not all Healers, not all Prayers in tongues, not all Interpreters of tongues. 31 And yet some of you keep competing for so-called “important” parts.

Eph.4:16 Under His control, the whole body is closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part (with power adapted to its need). It’s being fitted and held together by the support of every joint, with each part working properly to fulfill its function. This is how the body grows to full maturity, building itself up in love. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us. According to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the healthy body. A body isn’t just a single part blown up into something huge. It’s all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together.

Hebr.13:7 Remember and appreciate those who lead you   (your guides), who first taught you the Word of YHWH, to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.

Hebr.13:17 Be responsive to your mentors (your guides – those who lead you), who first taught you the Word of YHWH. Listen to their counsel. For they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Apostle (ἀπόστολος – apostolos) – a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders, send, send forth, send away, send out.
Prophet (προφήτης – prophētēs) – from a compound of ἐπί “before” and σκοπέω “to make known one’s thoughts, to declare, to say.”
Evangelist (εὐαγγελιστής – euaggelistēs) – declare glad tidings, a bringer of good tidings.
Pastor (ποιμήν – poimēn) – he to whose care and control others have committed themselves, and whose precepts they follow, a herdsman, a shepherd.
Teachers (διδάσκαλος – didaskalos) – one who is fitted to teach, of those who by their great power as teachers draw crowds around them, to explain or expound a thing.

Tit.1:5 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking and so you could complete what I left half-done: to appoint congregation elders   in every city as I instructed you. As you select them, ask, “Is this man well-thought-of? Are his children believers? Do they respect him and stay out of trouble?” 6 These elders should be: men who are of unquestionable integrity and are irreproachable. If a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination, 7 for it’s important that he (overseer, bishop)   must be blameless, as a steward of YHWH. He must welcome people, be helpful, wise, fair, and reverent. He must have a good grip on himself, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, 8 but rather he must be hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, 9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

1Tim.3:1 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop (overseer)  , he desires a good work. 2 A bishop (overseer)   then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence. 5 For if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the Congregation of YHWH? 6 An elder must not be a new believer because he might be proud of being chosen so soon, and the devil will use that pride to make him fall. 7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil and be disgraced.

1Pet.5:1 The elders   who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 care for the flock of YHWH entrusted to you with all the diligence of a shepherd. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly, not because you have to, but because you are eager to serve YHWH. Not calculating what you can get out of it. Not dishonorably motivated by the advantages and profits belonging to the office, but willingly and cheerfully. 3 Not domineering as arrogant, dictatorial, and tyrant persons over those in your charge, but being patterns of living in Messiah (in according to the Word of YHWH) to the congregation. Not bossily telling others what to do, but tenderly showing them the way. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Act.15:22 Then the apostles and the elders  , together with the whole congregation, resolved to select men from among their number and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas.

Act.14:23 So when they had appointed elders   in every congregation, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Master in Whom they had believed.

Act.20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers (bishops)  , to shepherd the Congregation of YHWH which He purchased with His own blood.

Act.6:2 Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the Word of YHWH and serve tables. 3 Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; We will appoint them to be in charge of this important matter, 4 but we ourselves will give our full attention to praying and to serving the Word.”

1Tim.3:8 Likewise, the deacons   must be of good character, not deceitful, not shifty and double-talkers but sincere in what they say, people whose word can be trusted. They must not give themselves to excessive drinking or be greedy for dishonest gain. 9 They must be reverent before the mystery of the faith with a clean conscience and not using their position to try to run things. 10 And first, let them be tested; then, if they prove themselves blameless, let them be appointed to serve as deacons. 11 Similarly, the wives must be of good character, not gossips, but temperate and self-controlled, faithful in everything. 12 Let deacons be the husbands of but one wife, and let them manage their children and their own households well.
